Roller derby

Roadkill Rollers is a roller derby league based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Since its inception the league has grown to about 45 members. We have a group of motivated trainers, an off-skate team, a PR-committee and we organise several fun activities. Like the annual FM Bootcamp, scrimmages and home bouts. Extra curricular activities for our members include things like a “Stout op nieuw”-bingo, Bring your kids to skate-day and a BBQ. Our main base of operations is in the southwest of Nijmegen, NL at Sporthal De Horstacker.

Roller derby is a fun and exciting sport comprising the best aspects of rollerskating, ice skating and American Football. It was originally invented in the United States in the 1930’s and had ups and downs in popularity in the next decades. At the beginning of the 21st century its popularity resurged again and saw the growth of more and more roller derby leagues worldwide.

We organise open trainings aka ‘fresh meat nights’ twice a year. Find us on Facebook to find out when the next open training is! Can’t wait? You can email us to ask when you can visit us.

We train on Tuesdays and Fridays, 20:30-22:30 at Sporthal De Horstacker in Nijmegen. Sporthal De Horstacker is located in the Lindenholt district and its exact address is as follows in contactdetails.
